Since I love doing the meme’s from Homeschool Blog Awards I just had to find time to do this one. Hmmm, something new? I have to think a moment since we are using much the same curriculum this year. Although we did change out The Ark’s lang. program in favor of trying out Alpha Omega’s Lifepacs. I had used them in the past and got great results with my daughter Renee, so we will see if they work well with the Ark. Although we aren’t starting them until Jan. We are currently using MCP’s Word Study, Spelling Power and Writing Strands until he improves more in his reading.
That is the only thing new are switched but we did buy a microscope but alas we haven’t named him yet. One day I will get around to doing that contest.

(how do you know your microscope is a boy?) That is an excellent question. I’m not sure why I think it is a ‘he’.
Let me know what you think of the upper elementry LA in the LifePacs. My son didn’t care for them and that is why we stopped using them. I do hope that they work well for you & your son.
I’m also enjoying this meme, getting some good advice as well as places to look for future curriculum.
