We have been so busy lately. Things are going fairly smoothly with Jasmine. Although her father filed a motion to end the protection order so we have a court date this coming friday. He thinks he can get them back since I had Jasmine in the hospital. He is really warped if he thinks that getting her help makes me unfit as a mom. We had a chiro visit last friday and I’m finally feeling better from the accident.

Life is good, just busy and I’m not liking busy much at the moment. There is never anytime to ponder things just action. My history class is ok, just a lot of work but I love ancient history so that is a plus. There are a lot of interesting people in the class. The refresher is nice since we are back to ancient history with the kids in the fall, making my life so much easier in at least one subject for homeschooling.

I finally bought a new keyboard and mouse. They are wireless and that is really nice right now. I also had to do some computer stuff. It was running really slow so I ran my tech tool software and it seems to have fixed that problem but it took quite a while and then I had to reinstall some things. But it is now functioning nicely.

We planted our garden yesterday, tomato’s, green beans, peas, cilantro, basil and carrots, I need to get some peppers, and cucumbers still. We added a border to it. Hoping to keep the boys from cutting through it when playing. We are tearing out the ugly shrubs that border our yard from the neighbors. We asked them yesterday if they minded and she was so happy to hear we wanted to take them out!! So that is our yard project today. We want to add a border to the front beds and then just plant some pansies to make it look presentable.

The boys have become addicted to Farm Town on my facebook account. They are learning quite a bit there and having fun. Summer craziness starts in two weeks. Noah and Kendra go to camp, swim lessons and swim team start. As well as VBS, I’m working crafts this year. That ought to be fun. I’m also teaching Noah how to knit, because don’t you know that real men knit? Not really but he wants to learn and it will be good for him. Then I must teach the Princess.

Well, I would love to spend more time here with you but duty beckons as does a shower. Have a great week.

life….

life….

I wish I felt like writing a real entry but I’m settling for bullets again.

  1. I have to prepare for a debate on reverse discrimination for tuesday’s social problems class.
  2. Getting done with another article analysis for soc.
  3. Working on my landscape,
  4. I took Noah to open swim today to celebrate his birthday.
  5. My swimming is improving slowly
  6. I love to listen to The Fish while i”m working on the computer. It is our contemporary christian music station.
  7. In only a week and a half , I will have to look at registering for spring semester.
  8. I’ve been kind of introspective lately about God and Jesus, interesting thoughts there but they are fleeting and I never remember them for long. Sometimes, I dream them, leaving me with a vague feeling of peace but not real thoughts or images.
  9. The husband is on vacation next week and I’m happy so that I can catch up with everything and maybe workout out at the fitness center at the college.
  10. Next friday and saturday, I will be at the Northeastern Ohio Synodical Women’s Organization Convention as a delegate. Serving on the conduct of elections committee, Team 1.
  11. I need to work on the mil’s shawl for christmas, it is coming along nicely,
  12. The husband is working the church on sunday, I will be volunteering in the nursery. Kendra and Noah will have to go to church and sit there alone, so that Kendra can take sermon notes. *Pastor Doug is a tough taskmaster* so glad I’m an adult.

Ok, I’m outta here as I have to get things done.

I’m back to being half human. Spent two days feeling as if i were hit by a mack truck. Poor Noah was sick also. He had a tough time at swim lessons today. Hopefully tomorrow will see us at 100%. I need to find my list of things I need to pick up yet for his trip to camp. Oh there it is…. right where it should be. I will go shopping either tomorrow or saturday for those things. most likely saturday. Kendra should be coming over tonight I hope. I need to get her to the rec dept. so that we can get her a pool pass. There must be storms coming in I feel a dip i the temp and a cooler breeze. The older girls are still knitting. I took Kendra to my knit/crochet club at church on tuesday. I learned something new…….to get a more even straighter edge you can slip the first stitch of every row then start with your patter. I also had Eleanor show me again the k1p1 stitch I kept messing it up for some reason. It looks much better now. I’m hoping to stop at the yarn store soon like by monday if I can. It just depends on how the next 2 days go around here.

Other news? I do have some but am afraid to say much about it yet. Will fill you all in asap. It is good news for the most part but don’t want to count my chickens so to speak. Ok, I’m out of here to go do some planning. I hear thunder…..
