Pricing paint for the best bargan, priming the dining room. Trying to keep up with the dishes, cooking and laundry. (an impossible task I might add) We will buy the paint on saturday, Thank God we have a 10% coupon so that helps a bit, paint is $28.95 a gallon. I need to pick up something for my granddaughter’s birthday. I also have to go to Grandparents Day tomorrow at Ivette’s school. It is finally sunny here after days of rain and cold weather although it is still a bit cold for me. At 52* at 3:30pm. I need it to warm up a bit so I can open the windows to paint without freezing us to death. I won’t paint when it is so cold and wet. I’m thinking we might not be painting until Sunday at this rate. We spent some time weeding the front area where we have two bushes and some bulbs. Saw lots of spiders, worms, a few potato bugs, ants, and a bronze colored beetle. Anyone know what that was? It was shiny and very small. Just in case you didn’t know, I hate bugs………
Ok, I have work to do or a nap to take we will see what wins out.

Paint is definitely expensive. We decided we don’t like one of the colors we initially put up, but we haven’t changed it because we don’t want to part with that $60!

Hi Melanie, I can relate to not wanting to part with hard-earned $$$ right now. you’re right, we are having lots of fun with our house. I might blog my feelings about it soon as the painting is a bit done. At least the living room, dining room and the hallway. Those are my main goals for the moment. Happy to see you!!!!

Hopefully we’ll be able to finish the trim on our house this summer. We’ve got the paint, hubby will have to get it mixed up again but hey it’s paid for
I do hope your weather gets warmer so that you can do the painting that you need to do, gotta have those windows open!!
Thanks, it is sunny at the moment and the husband says that the rain isn’t supposed to set in until afternoon, so I might have time to get at least the ceiling done maybe one coat on the walls.

Where are you buying paint at girl? I buy mine at stuff mart, and there price kills me but it is not near as bad as that!!!
